These terms govern all orders placed at yellowcookie.nl. Please read them before ordering. Questions? Email us at hello@yellowcookie.nl.
1. Company Information
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through yellowcookie.nl and its associated pages.

By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Our Products
Yellow Cookie Amsterdam bakes fresh cookies strictly to order. No batch is produced in advance. Each order is prepared specifically for the customer who placed it.
Our cookies contain gluten, dairy, eggs, and soy. Some variants contain peanuts or nuts (pistachio). All cookies are produced in a kitchen that handles nuts, peanuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs. Full allergen information is available on our website for each product.
We do not produce vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free products at this time. It is the customer's responsibility to review allergen information before ordering.
3. Ordering
Orders are placed online via yellowcookie.nl. An order is considered accepted only after successful payment has been completed through our payment provider (Mollie). You will receive a confirmation by email.
For custom event orders and B2B orders, a request submitted through our contact forms does not constitute a binding order. A binding order is only established once both parties have confirmed the details and payment has been completed.
Yellow Cookie reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion, in which case any payment already made will be refunded in full within 5 business days.
4. Prices & Payment
All prices displayed on yellowcookie.nl are in euros (€).
Consumer orders (individual cookies and drop boxes) are priced inclusive of applicable taxes.
B2B orders are priced exclusive of 9% Dutch BTW (VAT). BTW is added at the time of checkout and is shown clearly before payment is completed.
Payments are processed securely through Mollie B.V. We accept iDEAL as our primary payment method. For B2B weekly subscriptions, the first payment via iDEAL establishes a SEPA Direct Debit mandate for subsequent automated weekly billing.
Yellow Cookie does not store payment details. All payment data is handled exclusively by Mollie in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
5. Pickup & Delivery
Consumer orders (individual cookies and drop boxes) are available for pickup only at our Amsterdam East location. The exact pickup address and time window are confirmed in your order confirmation email. No postal shipping is offered for consumer orders.
B2B orders are delivered within Amsterdam only. Delivery takes place on Tuesdays or Thursdays, as selected at the time of ordering. Delivery is to the ground-floor entrance or reception of the provided address. Yellow Cookie does not guarantee delivery to individual floors or desks.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery during the agreed window. If no one is available to receive the delivery, Yellow Cookie will attempt to contact the customer. In the event of a failed delivery due to customer unavailability, no refund will be issued for that delivery.
6. Inspection of Your Order (Opening of Boxes)
We take quality seriously and inspect every order before it leaves our hands. However, we ask that you inspect your order at the moment of pickup or delivery.
If you notice a problem — damaged cookies, incorrect products, or missing items — please inform us immediately at hello@yellowcookie.nl, ideally within 2 hours of receiving your order and with a photograph of the issue.
Claims made after the box has been fully consumed, or more than 24 hours after pickup or delivery, cannot be processed.
Because our products are fresh, perishable food items baked specifically to your order, we cannot accept returns. Complaints are handled on a case-by-case basis. Where a valid quality complaint is established, Yellow Cookie will offer a replacement or a credit towards a future order.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Because every order is baked fresh to specification, cancellations are subject to the following conditions:
Consumer orders: Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. To cancel, contact us at hello@yellowcookie.nl. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded, as production will have already commenced.
Custom event orders: Cancellations must be requested at least 72 hours before the agreed delivery or pickup date. For orders cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice, Yellow Cookie reserves the right to retain a deposit of 50% of the order value to cover preparation costs.
B2B subscriptions: You may cancel your weekly subscription at any time via your subscription management link. Cancellation takes effect for the next scheduled delivery. Payments already processed for a delivery that is in production cannot be refunded.
In the event of a cancellation initiated by Yellow Cookie (for example, due to unavoidable circumstances), a full refund will be issued within 5 business days.
8. B2B Subscriptions — Additional Terms
By completing the first iDEAL payment for a weekly B2B subscription, you authorise Yellow Cookie to collect recurring weekly payments via SEPA Direct Debit from your account.
The weekly amount charged corresponds to the subscription price selected at sign-up. Yellow Cookie will provide at least 5 business days' notice of any price change.
You may pause your subscription for 1 to 4 weeks via your subscription management portal, accessible through the link provided in your confirmation email. Pausing takes effect from the next scheduled delivery.
You may terminate your subscription at any time via the management portal. Termination revokes the SEPA mandate immediately. No further charges will be made after termination is confirmed.
Yellow Cookie is not liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to adverse weather, traffic disruption, or supplier issues.
9. Allergens & Dietary Responsibility
Full ingredient and allergen information is published on our website for each product. This information is accurate to the best of our knowledge and updated when recipes change.
All Yellow Cookie products are produced in a kitchen that handles the following allergens: gluten, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, and nuts. Cross-contamination cannot be excluded.
Customers with food allergies or intolerances are responsible for reviewing allergen information before placing an order. Yellow Cookie accepts no liability for allergic reactions resulting from failure to review published allergen information, or from undisclosed allergen sensitivities.
10. Liability
Yellow Cookie's liability is limited to the value of the order placed. We are not liable for indirect damages, consequential loss, or loss of income.
Yellow Cookie is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to extreme weather, illness, or supply chain disruption. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative or issue a refund.
11. Privacy
Yellow Cookie collects and processes personal data (name, email, delivery address) solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and communicating with you about it. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, with the exception of our payment provider (Mollie) and email delivery service (Resend), which process data on our behalf.
Data is retained for as long as required by Dutch tax law (minimum 7 years for financial records) and deleted thereafter.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting hello@yellowcookie.nl.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from or related to an order placed with Yellow Cookie will first be submitted for resolution through direct communication with us at hello@yellowcookie.nl.
If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
As a consumer in the EU, you also have the right to submit a dispute via the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
13. Changes to These Terms
Yellow Cookie reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version is always published at yellowcookie.nl/yc_terms and is dated below. Continued use of our website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
